Ultimate Blog Party 2011

Ultimate Blog Party 2011

The wonderful ladies of 5 minutes for mom are hosting The Ultimate Blog Party and I am so excited to be participating this year! I adore the blogging community and what amazing support and friendships can be formed because of it.

If you are new here, you can learn more about me and why I blog by reading the little about me blub on the side bar, and my About Me page. If you are ready for some (happy) tears and to be inspired, read the story of my miraculous daughter.

Intrigued? You can learn more about Cystinosis and direct yourself to one of my most popular posts, Love & Other Drugs (and no, it is not just about the movie.) :)

You can shop some beautiful jewelry, including every day looks as well as statement pieces and personalized charm necklaces, at my Stella & Dot Boutique.

I love my life. I keep this blog to cherish the details, embrace the beauty, and capture the positive. I enjoy celebrating the impossible that I am still alive, as corny as that may sound!

Please introduce yourself! I can't wait to meet some new fabulous friends!

xoxo.

  16. Hi Tahnie, I just read your daughter's birth story. Thank you for your honesty and for sharing your story! I am glad to have found your blog through UBP. I have a little girl, too. She is 14 months. And, I am pregnant with another. Being a mother is truly the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I hope you can stop by my blog, too. http://mommyhoodnextright.blogspot.com/2011/04/im-joining-party-ultimate-blog-party.html

  17. I'm assuming that you live in Utah...I seen the pics from the Holi festival thing. I totally missed out on that, I think everyone I know went to it and I didn't even have a clue what it was. Hahaha ooops.

Anyhow, hello from another Utah blogger. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  22. Tahnie
It brings tears to my eyes and a warm feeling to my heart and a happiness to I guess my whole being to see that my Mother and Dad's wicker chairs are again being loved and cared for. I don't know how many times Mom recovered those cushions. Most times sitting at the sewing machine in front of the window in the kitchen. Our kitchen had many duties. Sewing room, dining room, kitchen, furnace and even a little sink in the corner that I guess you could call our "half bath." When I was little it even served as the bath-room when Mom would bring in the round metal tub for us three girls to take our "saturday night" bath in.
It is a good thing when you can see our history and our memories being brought into the lives of the fourth and fifth generation babies.
    Thank you Tahnie
You,Rory and Sookie mean so much to me.
    loves and loves
