The amazing invites by the fabulous Jessica how cute are they? I am so thrilled with how they turned out!
I've gone through a myriad of emotions the past week or so; grateful, mesmerized, awe, with just a hint of longing for the precious moments scattered across the past 365 days with our girl, wanting to hold that 5 pound miracle in my arms again. Every parent says the first year flies by and truly, it does. It passed much quicker than my pregnancy.
Sookie and Glamma. I made her shirt and just adore how it came together! I'm craft challenged, so this was extra exciting for me.
The rock candy chandelier I had a crazy whim to create. It is still hanging up and Sookie squeals with delight when I hold her up to touch it.
I decided to hang her monthly photos across the mantle so we could all see how much she has changed!
The wreath I made for the front door.
Candy cane tree I made
My momma helped me make the cupcakes. I am domestically challenged, but wow, they were delicious.
These photos sum up what I can't put into words. There was so much love in our house that afternoon. We are some unbelievably lucky people to have such remarkable family members.
Here's to a sparkling weekend; I hope yours was fabulous too.
BEAUTIFUL party. I know how hard you worked on it too. <3
